Personalised learning is rapidly being implemented by secondary schools in the Netherlands. Students benefit from education that is tailored to their individual needs, but for schools organising education this way means a huge burden. Advitrae provides MyX, a tool for planners, teachers and students to keep personalised learning manageable.
This concept created for Alliander is basically a weather forecast app aimed at owners of solar panels. It predicts what time of day your panels will provide the most energy and when you'll need to rely on battery or grid. Owners get notified when a shortage or surplus of energy is to be expected, that might move them to consider charging the Tesla at another time of the day.

Avans is one of the largest institute for higher education in the Netherlands. They have a huge amount of facilities to manage: buildings, classrooms, materials... and of course they have a large number of students and teachers. Scheduling a meeting with a student or teacher, or booking a facility therefore is not easy. Advitrae is helping Avans with tooling to make booking and scheduling meetings fast and effortless.
Besides the usual courses in secondary education VMBO students in the Netherlands receive a course aimed at career development skills. AMN developed a learning method that helps students gain insight into their strengths and weaknesses, using the judgment of a student's peers. The online environment boasts a scorecard of the student that gives insight into the most important metrics and recent changes.
There are many ways to compose a school's schedule, but optimising it is a real challenge. Advitrae has experienced that in many cases the teachers availability proves to be the biggest bottleneck. If only teachers would be a bit more flexible, better schedules for all should be possible. This is why Advitrae created Maetch: a serious game in which teachers compose a schedule together and learn about the benefits of being flexible and cooperative.

They consume, but also learn and create on these portable super-computers. So why not leverage this power at school as well? The Summario app provides educational content that matches this medium, and also matches the learner's personal profile.

Ever tried to order food or some beers at a crowded festival? The total anarchy at these venues calls for innovation! Valet Bar King is a concept that allows customers order from their phone. After ordering they receive what we call a 'bar code'; that would be the name of some legendary artist. When their order is ready this name will appear on one of the large screens above the bar. No waiting in line, no shouting, just ordering like a king.
When we agree to "go Dutch" (split the bill) after having dined at some fine restaurant, it often occurs that the host will refuse. No wonder at a busy evening, because splitting the bill just takes too much time. So why not let the customers do the splitting? And while they're at it, let them each pay individually using PIN or creditcard. Customer served, time saved: we like this concept!
